Guys,Ever heard of LPG cylinder at Rs 2000/- and PetroL Rs 200/- per litre..well that is what happening in Manipur after the Nagas has blocked the National Highways 2 and 37 as they oppose to the carving of a seperate district out of Naga Dominated area of Sadar Hills..The Naga leaders unilaterally took this decision conveyed by the UNC..It entered 121ST DAY OF THE BLOCKADE DUE TO WHICH THE PRICES rose to extreme levels..Now when the PM is going to visit Manipur the blockade has been lifted after assurance by Chidambaram that the decision will be taken after district commitee report and discussion with all parties!! Now this was the news..good..But does anyone has ever thought that what would have been the state of the common man where life saving drugs and basic necessities like cooking gas and Petrol reached sky high prices like being sold in civil war affected African region..!! Life is so miserable when the govt takes no action which is harmful against the civilians.And surprisingly the black marketeers had all the supplies..In a place like Manipur which is unlike Delhi,Mumbai,Bangalore and Hyderabad etc..where sources of income are limited any shortage of basic commodity can cause chaos but surprisingly the govt took 121 days to address the issue and only at the time of PM's visit it is lifted in the hope that the talks will be successful..What was the govt doing all this time?? Did anyone think of the people living there? If the govt will continue to take the north eastern states lightly then those times are not far away when these states will bend towards external help from states like China and try to cut off from India..Already we are facing great issues in Arunachal pradesh and Siachen..Why were the armies not called and situation taken under control..? How can a organisation take total control of a state and cut it from the rest of the country? and govt sitting on the seat and taking no concrete action! This is not good news and the govt has to take concrete steps to make sure that this never happens in future in any state of India..Indian constitution has to come up with a law which nullifies strikes resulting in damage of property or life of a citizen and/or loss to the govt exchequer...If the govt is busy handling their foes in UP and Rest of INDIA to gain popularity,the days are not far away when the NE regions will get fed up of the policies and ultimately give in to the wants of the foreign hands....Then the govt will have a greater problem to address..

This is great news amidst all these controversies!!! Former Pakistan foreign minister has just exploded a time bomb saying that the pakistan's nuclear weapons are not safe?? He has added that Pakistans nukes are not safe in PPP hands..which might be a statement to get an upper hand as he has joined Imran Khan's TEHRIK-E-INSAAF party..But this issue is very controversial and pinches right in the soft corner of Pakistan where it hurts the most..It is also possible thet this comment has been given on purpose to deviate from the current issue of NATO's bombing of pakistani soldiers..as Pakistan really had USA is a corner concerning this issue...Now after Qureshi's statement suddenly Pakistan has found no foot under ground and USA was quick to raise their concern against this issue turning the tables back on Pakistan and bringing China into the frame by raising their concerns on PAKISTAN-CHINA nuclear deal for nuclear reactors as USA is skeptical about Pakistans energy needs and suspect that they want to have nuclear reactors for processing bomb grade material..Pakistan will have to do a lot of explaining and play their best diplomatic cards to appease and save interests of China..their hand in hand ally..USA has a very good chance to justify their presence in the region and rebuff China one more time...Again ,India was found sleeping and has yet not recorded any statement from the Defence ministry or the External affairs ministry..Its high time India that we start play a major role in the region and stop relying on USA or others for support in diplomatic concerns..CHINA-PAKISTAN against INDIA is a lose situation..but CHINA-PAKISTAN vs USA-INDIA is a win win situation....Atleast diplomatically support USA and try to give it leverage amidst this situation..It will send out positive signals to all concerned..Especially CHINA AND PAKISTAN!!

China's provoking statement to USA on Pakistan's NATO STRIKE..

What is china doing amidst this controversy..? Their condolences is understandable but not their perspective..What moral responsibility does china have to interfere in Pakistan's internal affairs..? Or is it trying to embarass USA to avenge USA's support to philippines and India against growing clout of the chineese in south china sea..? Whatever,India should miss this chance to remind China that it has infiltrated Indian territory in Siachen and has no moral right to remind Pakistan of their soveireignity?? when it has no respect for other nations!! It has been an interesting forthnight,not with the world economies but with Obama;s tour of the Asia Pacific region.It had just the right blend of spices for all as per their DISLIKES!! Especially CHINA!! This time they really had it.Some hard retorts,some handshakes,some sideline meetings,it had it all.

Obama's pupularity was taking an downside trend amidst hich this tour was planned and executed with 100% success..maybe 110%..It had a rebuff  for Chineese President Wen Jiabo to act sanely in terms of internation montary policy and show some maturity in EUROZONE CRISIS!It had a promise by the US to Phillipines that they will support them militarily in any form of agression(unpointed finger towards China)..It had the announcement of an American Base in Australia which really shaook the chineese as their growing clout would be disturbed by American presence..So long the issue of south china sea which holds about 5 trillion dollars of commerce and some 200+ billion barrels of black gold underneath has been claimed by China all the time by flexing their muscles on others including India but this time by USA inteference it has become a debatable issue which will call for some hard core diplomacy from both sides..Obama;s visit had some monetary help for Myammar and a discussed trip by Hillary Clinton to the country..It was a perfect graph of a strong rhetoric subliming into soft discussions of trade and bussiness opportunities..

India benefitted deeply by his visit as it had an agreement with Australia for the nuclear fuel supply from Australia which it had been lobbying for long time..The greatest news for th Indian contigent was the arrival of American base in Darwin,Australia which straighway points towards hampering China's regional clout and bossing.Now India will have less a bit of less concern regarding China's military prospects in Myanmar and Srilanka..Pakistan will be smart enough to understand the move that now his adverseries are targetting his Godfather China and not Pakistan directly..It clearly shows that India and USA has done dealing with Pakistan and has everything under control..so moving the next step ahead..Its a great move by USA as India has been a long time ally and a much safer country to be nuclear armed as it has responsible agenda accompanied by nuclear deterrent policy..We have been victims of terrorism and a longtime foe to Pakistan and China..together which had always giving headache to India..Now times have changed..!! But we should be careful and not behave like Pakistan and run to USA for every milk and bone..Its a golden oppportunity and cannot be missed and overlooked..It was no surprise that USA tested their MACH 5 Ballistic missile and India tested their AGNI IV..All these indicators are a clear signal to China and Pakistan (for India)..that they should better behave in their shoes or there are some tough times expected..Also it has been a clear message by Wen Jiabo that China will not assist in Eurozone crisis which is not good signal in the Monetary circle..I wild guess is that the world will prefer India to take the front stage and act friendly rather than having China at the top and be unfriendly..The preparations have begun!!

It was interesting to see the latest developments in the Asian continent between India,China and Pakistan..all involving USA..

It all started between the alteration in the high seas when Indian naval vessel was confronted by Chineese Ship instructing us to move out of their water space..SOUTH CHINA SEA?? India was immediate to take up the issue and inform them that they were in international waters and China had no bussiness to be watchdogs in the international waters..India evidently further backed their statement with their joint deal with Vietnameese oil company for exploration..China had no saying after that but they reteriated by introducing their plans to further increase their interest in Indian Ocean..At the same time or a bit earlier USA had warned China about their strategic programmes for increasing their weaponry in all commands as an act of polarisation in strategic power in Asia..USA even warned India about the mobilisation of the Ballistic Missiles on China India border by Chineese PLA..Ofcourse China denied any such movements..Following these reports there was sudden change in India's dialect and stance when India took the bold step of warning China to keep off Indian territory in Siachen and Ladakh..After having made suitable statements against China ,USA and India moved to their common FOE Pakistan..It came as a surprise when India and USA gave a joint statement that they had agreed upon a joint operation to take control of Pakistan's Nuclear Arsenal in case there is any Political or Civil turmoil in Pakistan..leading to the fall of the government or Pakistan falling into the hands of Pro Taliban or Extremists..The USA further build up the pressure on Pakistan giving an open statement and accusing Pakistan of supporting HAQQANI network using its intelligence agency ISI for targetting American Base..India was quick to grab the opportunity and asserting their claim to have declared earlier that ISI was behind the attacks on Indian Embassy in Kabul..It was surprising to see the Bill being Introduced in the Senate the very next day to ban all financial aid to Pakistan..USA made a smart move by asking the PAKISTAN govt and army to target HAQQANI network which Pakistan clearly refused to do..The very next days Pakistan was seen warming upto China and openly declaring China as their brother in arms and stated that CHINA would replace USA as their main bussiness and strategic ally..The polaristion is quite evident!! I would say that India and USA have already made up their plans to take on China and Pakistan if need arises as they are a common startegic ally being the two largest democracies of the world and India being a moderate nation as far as their policy goes on terrorism..ISLAMIC TERRORISM..It was not surprising to see the workers going up in arms in HONG KONG protesting the Chineese policy burning down buses and halting work in the third largest Exporting firm..creating huge losses..India knows that any war in the asian continent will not go excluding them(india)..In the scenario if USA strikes Pakistan or China,India will have to get involved and take side..Its in India interest as well..We can claim back our lost territory and increase our hold on enemy territories and put a seal on USA-INDIA partnership for centuries to come..At least we can increase our hold and intelligence in their territory..USA will be greatly benifitted as it will be able to keep any eye on Iran in case it goes hostile..Russia is next doors and will also be included in stronger intelligence gathering for the American agencies..Its an underlying understanding between the Americans and the Indians and both are comfortable with each others presence in their territories..America can have India as a big potential market for future bussiness in defence,Nuclear arms and Energy,Medicine,Engineering and Space technology..India needs USA as a powerful ally to flex their muscles against China and dominate the region..USA cannot afford China to be the economical superpower in the coming decade or two..India is a favourable destination for all major economic powers due to its readiness,man power,education,thirst to become a second or a first world destination..China lags way behind us in these arenas..Its is well known that indians blend well and adapt easily to all changes put forth to them..These statements and strategies are a good deterrence for the SINO PAK patnership and an indication to tell them that we are ready for you..The question is whether China will support a terrorist State which is surviving on debts and financial aids,which is unable to control its own forces which are working for the extremists aginst their own country,a country which has nothing to offer except false roars of Nuclear Weapons to act as deterrent..If China decides to go ahead with this relationship it might find itself on the other end of international community..Can it afford to loose all partners for the sake of one?? Is it that stupid or is China smart to buy out Pakistan and sell it in the open market?? Well,I will not be surprised to see Islamic Terrorism after a decade in the chineese territory...It will be interesting to see the developments in the coming weeks or whether it is all decided whats going to happen!!

AMNESTY FOR BLACK MONEY HOLDERS???

Govt..Please dont say corporates and others??..what does others means?? Cricketers?? Criminals..?? Fimstars or politicians?? Have you any understanding that because of your debt,which kept on increasing,misgovernance,due to which the interest rates,inflation and the commodities went sky roof and curruption which spreaded all over the country we had to suffer..Many many families had to sell their properties as they coudnt afford the paybacks..the school fees,food,fuel,Electricity and etc etc became unaffordable..Why do you want to give amnesty to these people?? Where were you when the Reliance started charging the double rates per unit of electricity supply?? Onions disappeared from the market and the containers were purposely holded at the India Pakistan border for the prices to triple??The interest rates were increased which broke the backbone of the real estate...Giving amnesty means that you will allow the persons or companies go scott free!! and keep the money??The point is how did they get that type of money which is 13 times the debt India has towsrds the world bank?? Indian is on no 1 position in Internationally holded black unaccounted money!!You just can't give amnesty and levy penalty on them...The names should be declared and all of them should be prosecuted in the supreme court..The money belongs to the Indian people!! Confiscate that!! No amnesty!! You are giving a clean chit to all..Do not blind the Indian people saying that you will invest that in the infrastaructure?? Damn..what have you done in 64 years that you will do now..?? all the contracts will be given to politicians?? kickbacks and commissions will follow..With that money you need to pay back all the debt that India holds in the world bank...With the money left we need to buy economies of the countries which are short of funds and under heavy debts!! NATIONAL SPORTS BILL??

lETS SEE THE SPORTS BILL IN DETAIL!! LOOKS INTERESTING!!  ISNT IT?

The government will today consider introducing a new bill that will increase considerably the transparency of all sports bodies. The bill's headline, however, lies in its attempt to increase the financial accountability of India's cricket board, one of the richest sports organizations in the world. To do that, the Right to Information (RTI) Act would apply to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The cabinet will today review the National Sports Bill 2011, which the government wants to introduce in this current session of parliament, which concludes on September 8.

In addition to its firm stand on the BCCI, the bill wants administrators of all sports bodies to be 70 or younger; nobody is allowed more than two consecutive terms; and an administrator cannot hold more than two positions simultaneously.

The proposed Bill has met with stiff resistance in the past by sports federations who are often headed by politicians cutting across party lines. For e.g: Sharad Pawar, Union Minister for Agriculture and food processing, is also the ICC president, while Vilasrao Deshmukh, the Science & Technology Minister, is the president of Maharashtra Cricket Association.

The Bill also provides for the Indian cricket team to be put through dope tests by the National Anti-Doping Agency, just like any other athlete or sportsperson. So far, the Indian cricketers have not signed the World Anti-Doping Association (WADA) code and hence do take dope tests at the national level as well.

"We need reforms in sports, which we hope the National Sports Bill will bring. Our idea was to introduce the Bill in the monsoon session. The inter-ministerial consultation is over and it will be presented to the Cabinet tomorrow (Tuesday). If passed, it will then go to Parliament for resolution," said Sports Minister Ajay Maken. "I am hopeful that the Parliament will be unanimous on this Bill," he added.

India has close to 40 sports federations like the Athletic Federation of India and All India Football Federation, as well as the Indian Olympic Association and the BCCI. While the BCCI is an autonomous body, the IOA is the body responsible for selecting athletes to represent India at the Olympic Games, Asian Games and other international athletic meets and for managing the Indian teams at the events.

The BCCI has objected in the past to regulation on the grounds that it is not funded by the government. However, various aspects of the T20 domestic IPL tournament, organised by the BCCI, are being investigated for violations of foreign exchange laws and for tax evasion. A parliamentary committee also said in its report earlier this month that the Income Tax Department was being very lenient to the BCCI and has allowed the cricketing body to "enrich its coffers at the expense of the exchequer".

The need for better scrutiny of sports bodies was underscored by the graft-drenched Commonwealth Games, organized by a committee headed by Congress MP Suresh Kalmadi. He is now in jail, along with some key aides. Mr Kalmadi and others have been accused of signing up companies who provided the most expensive quotes for their services, rather than the cheapest ones. Massive kickbacks were allegedly involved.

Some Pointers from The New Sports Bill:

According to the provisions of this proposed tough Bill, sports federations will have to comply with the fresh directives within a year, which will make elections compulsory every four years.

The Bill also proposes that no person beyond the age of 70 can hold more than two terms in office. At the same time, they cannot hold more than two positions. This rule is intended to end the monopoly held by several politicians over the years as heads of various sports bodies.

All sports federations including the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will come under the purview of the Right to Information (RTI) Act.

The new Bill will now make it mandatory for cricketers too to undergo age and dope tests.

The final authority on overseeing all national sports federations, Indian Olympic Association (IOA), playing fields and anti-doping agency NADA will be the Central government.

The Bill also envisages a sports ombudsman to arbitrate between warring factions or over disputes.

It also incorporates a sports tribunal to be headed by a retired judge of the Supreme Court to decide on penalties and pass judgements.

But this time the NATIONAL SPORTS BILL has the BCCI officals by their neck..If the BCCI comes under NATIONAL SPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA they will be liable to answer all enquiries by RTI..also they will be under greater threat of being interrogated by the TAX department,FOREIGN EXCHANGE DEPARTMENT,ENFORCEMENT DIRECTORATE..etc etc as the trail might lead to some big kickbacks in the contracts and deals..The best thing is the elections are coming after couple of years and all these dark horses are coming out just before a year of campaigning starts..!! ohh!! great!! Anna Hazare has set the platform for reforms and seems that its going to continue?? I guess the BCCI players including the team has enjoyed enough attention,money,branding,sponsorships and glamour inspite of their tremendous performances and their horrible loses..This was our WORLD CUP WINNING TEAM!! IN ENGLAND..Good..Now the time has come that the sports authority should take the reins in their hands and curb malpractices done under its roof..We have shown great performances and potential in various sports like Shooting,Boxing,Atheletics,Chess,Badminton,football AND ABOVE ALL HOCKEY!! Its our national game and has to be lifted..No doubts we have great potential..!!

Transparency is the key to success which lets us know what is happening inside the association or organisation..Swift actions can be taken..We have to curb glamour and concentrate on performances..We need to remember that our nation has a clear policy..of KARAM PRADHAN..We have great potential and these should be explored..So many talents are wasted or have passed their prime because of favourism,quota,influence and money..These politicians are on the clear path to sell everything for money..Its time for no silly bussiness..Lets show our support to the good people on chairs and make our country and our society a heaven to live in with abundant opportunities for our generations and safe for the families..

Vishwaka..Anna is not fighting curruption but for the bill which will curb currupt offices and people in govt positions..The government is not fighting curruption..THE GOVERNMENT ITSELF IS CURRUPT!!!THIS BILL WILL HELP BRING THOSE CURRUPT PEOPLE TO JUSTICE..!!The points that you have raised are true but the government is adamant on its own version which is not adequate..If the bill is not so scary for these people why put him under arrest?? why disorient Bab Ramdev's campaign..?? The Reddy's in Karnataka..Raja and DMK in Tamilnadu..Congress in Maharashtra?? The judges..The politicians..Indias black money?? who has been brought to justice?? Nobody??? If a government is not functioning well..change is required..why not a peoples jurisdiction..

We all know what happened yesterday? The arrest of Anna Hazare and his associates was carried out ahead of peaceful protests..The government has put itself to shame!! Protecting the criminals and arresting the social leaders..Not once did the Delhi police thought that they were arresting a man fighting for a noble cause! why would they? They themselves are incapable of curbing crime in their own city? This is the same police force which is incompetant of apprehending the rapists and have no guts left in their uniform..SHAMLESS!! This is the same police which had lathi charged the civilians in Baba Ramdevs camp..Where is Sheila Dixit?? What is the CM doing?? Is she busy with the lawyers trying to save herself from Kalmadi and co?? Of course she will..She was allowed to keep her post after the ruckus..

Anyways,Anna Hazare has written his name in the golden books..He has brought the government to their knees..I am sure the UPA understand this that even an inch of further action against this Gandhian will defile and degrade them in the international community..What will happen in India is a wild guess for anyone..After a long time India has seen such an uprising! We had seen at the time of Kargil war when the country united for the soldiers and last after 26/11 carnage..The UPA has failed the people in all departments..Inflation,Terrorism,Curruption and Democracy!Anna Hazare has rightly emerged as Indias hero as he has taken a cause which is the mother of many troubles...He has caught the pulse of the society...The riots in UK were an example of an society or country which is getting restless and frustated due to government incompetency where the youngters went on looting spree and rioting due to personal gains and enimity..If the same happens in India it will be total chaos..The military will have to called in and second Emergency is in calling?? Is BJP listening!!..I am greatly missing Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee as he would have been a perfect mentor for the BJP..It would have been a perfect war of two GOOD MEN..always in the wrong place?? The congress thinks that the people are unaware of the leaders who are relishing the juice of curruption..they are wrong..We are resilient by force..Not by choice..If something like UK happens in India..Emergency is a definite option as the president is an elected personality by the same govt..

The govt can under no circumstances falter in such a mass movement against them which will blacken their integrity in world scenario and also hamper our prospects in foreign investments which is greatly in demand after USA nd Europe collapse..Not to mention how Pakistan and China will make use of this instability...

There is also a different perspective of this issue...Absence of SONIAGANDHI?? Is this not just more than a co incidence that inspite of Anna Hazare declaring well before time that he will be protesting Mrs Sonia Gandhi is in USA..Well.its a family affair..The point is who is in charge??? PM Manmohansinghji or Rahul Gandhi?? Not Pranab Mukerjee and P Chidambaram ofcourse..Has this situation purposely agravated for him to take charge?? or come as a saviour of Democracy? I dont think congress will take that risk or maybe they just did??

Anna Hazare's intention is clear and he is not backing out..Good for us..Even the people of mass following are supporting him like Shri Ravishankarji and Baba Ramdev..We the people of India have to make sure that we stay on this path of peaceful protesting and throwing out the unwanted people in the elections or at least bring ONE SINGLE PARTY IN THE CENTRE!!!! Too much of something is bad for health..We had too many coalition governments???

I just hope that this agitation will end on a peaceful note and the Democracy will prevail by the govt giving way to assurance of making the bill a stronger one..which I also strongly support...and am sure now as do the whole of India..

In modern times,Life has become a living hell for us Indians.. These pest and parasites are eating into our society and have become a cancer..In addition to our daily troubles these issues are making the common life difficult to live..Let us seek a relief and victory in the form of this agitation..Our dear Gandhiji was way ahead in his perceptions of Satyagrah and non violence..which is always proven time and again..Even today his principles work and we should have faith in his beliefs while trying to imitate them..Dont forget what was the result!! Focus on the outcome and not the path..We are a country of great diversity and traditions..Let us unite the colors one more time..Let us all become the Ashoka chakra in the tricolor...Let us unite for a noble cause..HEY RAM HEY RAM HEY RAM..

I came across a column in the Times Of India based on the college students staying away from home doing their engineering and other academic posts ,involved in selling themselves (male prostitutes)just for money??

I was surprised to see at what scale it is happening??

These students are going to be the future of India working in respectable organisations and running the companies?? Are they actually so desperate for money that they have become flesh machines..What are they going to do when they will be holding responsible designations with reputed firms?? Is this what we are expecting from our young generation??

I am in the process of completing my book on Modern India..based on the impact of globalisation on our society and have discussed this topic as well in detail..why is this happening and how to curb it..how to make our society healthy again..If you are interested ..pls take the effort to buy and read the same..It will be available in a few months from now..which I will keep everyone posted about..

But the fact remains..DO WE WANT PEOPLE OF THIS MENTALITY RUNNING OUR COUNTRY??

People who can sell themselves as prostitutes just for money to afford amenities and fees?? Imagine what they will be capable of when they will be having powers to take important decisions??

Dont you think there is something wrong happening in our society??

The New Crusade..

We have been witnessing this non voilent crusade of Anna Hazareji against the curruption..Well we have to take a decision..Either we are with him or not with him..For how long we are going to sit numb like this and watch the people with power exploit us....These politicians and bureaucrats are selling our us into the bussiness community like rubbish..

The lands are given at throw away prices??

The flats are allotted to their relatives or family members??

the wholesale supply of vegetables and poultry are in their hands??

The sand mafia??

The keroscene mafia??

The transportation??

The bandh??

the agitation??

Domestication of criminal and criminal activities??

And when non voilent protests are held these people lathi charge the innocent civilians?? What is going on in this country?? I can't say for many of the indians but I am not with them? This is not the country we had fought for and sought freedom and independance...These currupt people should be thrown out from their chairs..These political parties are harvesting criminals and these criminals are sitting in the elected chairs and looting us...They have no ethics and no remorse for us?? They will sell each and every person if they can?? They have utilised each and every possible way to earn money and they will continue to do that till we are out of resources..We are the people who have to pay for their mis doings..The taxes are levied on us?? The water is for us?? The electricity bill is for us?? The road taxes,the toll,the sales tax...all for the civilians?? The municipality is just throwing away contracts to the ministers families companies..which are doing no work but taking all the crore of rupees..The roads are jammed in the monsoons because of not cleaning of drainages..the roads are full of potholes and cracks...what is going on?? Its just because we are silent!!

Let us back Annaji and bring this lokpal bill into force which will help us curb this curruption and make our lives better...our country a much better country..a country that we always dream of..a heaven for our children..full of opportunities and well being..If now we keep silent ,we might have to keep silent the whole of life..as these politicians are trying their best to shut Annaji up and dismantle his agitation..He is also supported by seeers like Ramdevji and Sri Sri Ravishankarji..Even they accept the movement...People lets do it...Its now or never!
